Life Care Center of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, recently achieved a deficiency-free state survey.
To pass the state survey each year, nursing facilities must meet hundreds of criteria. These survey visits are unannounced and address not only nursing care and resident safety, but also patients’ rights, food services, administration and the facility’s environment. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care and interviewing residents and associates.
“It validates what our dedicated staff has been working toward each and every day, which is to provide the highest quality of care and services to all our patients and ensure it is provided in a compassionate and caring setting,” said Dennis Lopata, executive director.
State surveyors completed their visit to Life Care Center of Wilbraham on July 17, 2017, and the facility received the results on July 20.
